The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill first opened its doors for students in 1795 making it the nation’s first public university. The long-standing university gained its fame through the advancement in scientific research, medical education, and innovative teaching making it one the most prestigious pillars of medical research in the world. UNC’s College of Arts and Sciences instilled valuable morals and ethics through their leadership and innovative teaching styles. These styles extended my etiquette both in professional research, as well as my personal development.
